Polkadot has gained 3.05% during the last 24 hours. However, the king of the cryptocurrency, Bitcoin (BTC), is down by 1.17% on Thursday and is currently trading for $10,318.02 per BTC.
ETH which is swapping for $325.83 per coin has an overall market valuation of around $13billion in comparison to BTC’s $24 billion. Still, the BTC dominance ratio is only 58.6% today while several alternative crypto assets have seen much larger gains. XRP is also down by 3.29% today trading for $1.00 per coin.
The top ten cryptocurrencies of the coinmarketcap.com showed a downward trend in their prices. Bitcoin cash (BCH) is down by 2.56% and dropped to $210.15 range on Thursday afternoon. With a market cap of $4 Million, BCH ranks at 6th number on the charts. Bitcoin Gold slurp in the value with 4.87%, while Bitcoin Diamond is down by 6.01%.
Litecoin (LTC) is also down by 0.70% and is trading at $43.82. Maintaining the market rank of 10, the total market capitalization of LTC is $1 Billion. Other cryptos which are down are:

- Binance Coin by 0.17% and is currently at $23.55
- Cardano by 2.90% and is capped at $0.07
- Monero by 1.27% and is trading at $89.08
- Dash by 1.48% is at $66.19
